During the first quarter of 2021, families living in the Zakarpattia region spent UAH 8,373.91 per month on food , which is the highest figure among all regions in Ukraine.

This was reported on the website of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

According to published data, Ivano-Frankivsk region (UAH 6,904.19) is in second place in terms of family food expenditures, and Volyn region (UAH 6,176.11) is in third place.

Payments for water, electricity, gas and other fuels are most expensive for Kyiv residents (UAH 3,188.65), followed by Zakarpattia Oblast (UAH 2,651.96) and Kyiv Oblast (UAH 2,571.18).
