The exercises will take place at the “Harbmaidon” and “Momirak” training grounds, which are located in close proximity to the border of Tajikistan and Afghanistan.

From October 10 to 23, three exercises in the CSTO format will be held at the aforementioned training grounds of the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan, a source in the republic’s defense department told Asia-Plus.

Over 4 thousand soldiers and officers of the CSTO countries and about 800 units of military equipment will be involved in the exercises.

Exercises of units for the organization and conduct of reconnaissance “Poisk-2021”, units of logistics “Echelon-2021” and the Collective Rapid Response Force – “Interaction-2021”.

During the special exercise “Echelon-2021” it is planned to work out the issues of organizing the material and technical support of the collective forces of the CSTO during the preparation and during the joint operation.
