US Ambassador to Russia John Sullivan was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry. At the moment, he has already arrived at the building on Smolenskaya Square, TASS reports.
Initially, the reason for his visit to the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation was not named, however it was revealed that Sullivan was summoned due to the denial of accreditation to Russian journalists for the 9/11 events in New York.
Sullivan left the department building after a while. He got into the car and did not speak to reporters. The video with the diplomat appeared on the RIA Novosti Telegram channel.
According to the official version, Osama bin Laden planned and prepared the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001: four hijacked planes by members of the movement were to crash into key buildings in the United States. Suicide bombers flew planes into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the US White House. Almost three thousand people became victims of this largest terrorist attack in history, the incident itself was called a national tragedy, and the approximate damage in monetary terms amounted to almost $ 500 billion. Al-Qaeda (banned in Russia) claimed responsibility for the crime.
