UNESCO today considered the inclusion of the World Nomad Games in the list of best practices of the institution for the preservation of the intangible cultural heritage.

From 13 to 18 December, the 16th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage is being held online at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris (France).

“World Nomad Games: Heritage Revival, Celebrating Cultural Diversity” is the first nomination presented by the Kyrgyz Republic on this list.

Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism Azamat Zhamankulov made a speech at the event.

He thanked the UNESCO Commission for the recognition of the World Nomad Games and for their inclusion in the list.
