The FacePay system for fares will operate at all Moscow metro stations from October 15th. This was announced by Sergei Sobyanin during his speech on the topic “Smart cities. How the digital future of megacities is being shaped today ”. His words are quoted by “Moscow 24”.
According to the mayor, from September 15, the number of metro stations at which the system operates is will double, and from October 15 it will work at all stations. He recalled that the system is operating at four metro stations in test mode. It has already been tested by 15 thousand people who participated in the experimental mode.
