Russia agreed to a request for a visit to Moscow by British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss. It will take place in February, a diplomatic source told TASS.
“The head of the British Foreign Office asked for the opportunity to come to Moscow for talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. Moscow has agreed” – said agency interlocutor.
According to him, the head of the British Foreign Office will arrive in the Russian capital in February.
On January 13, the English media disseminated information about the imminent visit of Truss to Moscow. Liz Truss has made a number of harsh statements against Russia in recent months, accusing her of violating international obligations and aggression against Ukraine.
