President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky convenes a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council today.

This was reported on the Facebook page of the National Security and Defense Council.

“Today, January 24, 2022, at 5 pm in the Office of the President of Ukraine (11 Bankova Street, Kyiv), a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine will take place,” the statement reads.

It is noted that the meeting will consider issues of measures to ensure national security from internal and external threats, the current state of the economy, energy, combating the coronavirus pandemic, etc.

The briefing of Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, is scheduled for approximately 6:30 p.m.  

We will remind, the commander of operation of the United forces on Donbass lieutenant general Alexander Pavlyuk spoke about probable invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine and even suggested when it can happen.
