The Ministry of Digital Transformation faced large and professional cyberattacks, including the public services portal, which was hit by hackers. On February 26 alone, ministry specialists recorded more than 50 DDoS attacks with a capacity of more than 1 terabyte, TASS reports.
“The Ministry of Digital Development is facing an unprecedented scale of cyberattacks. <…> All attacks are successfully repelled by security center specialists”, —emphasizedin the department.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation also pointed to the reliable protection of users’ personal data, hackers will not be able to access them. Although, admitted in the department, the Russians may have problems with the temporary unavailability of services.
