Russia is ready to cooperate with the EU and other interested players to discuss all sorts of details on interaction in the hydrogen market, Russian Permanent Representative to the European Union Vladimir Chizhov said during a video bridge, answering a NEWS.ru question. According to him, current technologies make it possible to extract hydrogen and pump it more or less safely.
“As for the development of hydrogen projects, Russia is ready to cooperate with the European Union and other interested players in this market to work out all sorts of details,” – said Chizhov.
According to him, new gas pipelines of the modern generation, such as Nord Stream 2, will make it possible in the future to mix hydrogen and natural gas, while the old generation gas pipelines, for example, transit through Ukraine, do not represent such an opportunity.
