Roskomnadzor blocked in Russia, at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, the websites of Novye Izvestia, the Russian-language Israeli media Channel 9 and Vesti Israel, the Belarusian Euroradio and the Estonian newspaper Postimees, as well as the website of the investigative group Bellingcat (acts as a foreign agent). In total, access was closed to more than 30 resources, Interfax reports.
According to the RKN universal service for checking the blocking of pages and sites, access to sites is completely restricted at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office dated February 24, – notes Interfax.
Earlier, at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, Roskomnadzor blocked the TJournal portal in connection with the spread of fakes about a military special operation in Ukraine. The statement, published on the publication’s website, notes that the supervisory authority sent a letter to TJ, in which he informed about the restriction of access to the site at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
