The presentation of the global initiative Net Zero World took place within the framework of the 26th UN Climate Conference – COP26 in the format of a panel discussion. According to Reuters, Net Zero World has been joined by more than 100 countries that have committed to reducing methane greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030 from 2020 levels. This initiative is supported by the richest US philanthropists and offers countries ongoing access to expert assistance from government technical, research and investment agencies and US national laboratories; financial support of internal technical institutions.

In addition, Net Zero World provides in-depth cooperation on technical and investment plans and policies, pilot technologies, infrastructure upgrades, investment partnerships, workforce development and other measures to achieve sustainable decarbonisation of the energy system.
