In eight days, gas reserves in underground storage facilities (UGS) of Ukraine decreased by 5.4%, or 770 million cubic meters. m.

As reported on the website of the State Company “GTS Operator of Ukraine”, as of December 26, natural gas reserves amounted to 14.17 billion cubic meters with a maximum capacity of 31 billion cubic meters.

The company explained that the pumping of gas accelerated due to lower daily temperatures. Before cooling, more than 3% of stocks were taken from storage every week. If in early December the daily pumping was at the level of 60-70 million cubic meters, now about 80-90 million cubic meters. The download does not occur.

Today, Ukrainian gas storage facilities are 45.7% full.
