This was reported to Ukrinform by an informed source.

“The president convenes the National Security and Defense Council ,” he said.

According to him, the meeting will take place traditionally on Friday evening.

Subsequently , information appeared on the  National Security and Defense Council’s Facebook page that the meeting would take place at 5 p.m.

“President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov to organize a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (Office of the President of Ukraine) on September 17, 2021 at 5 pm in Kyiv,” the statement reads.

As noted in the Security Council, “all members of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine are informed about the date, time and place of the meeting.”
