In January-June 2021 production of natural gas increased by 4.7 percent year-on-year to 26.308 bcm.

Coca-Cola Bottlers Uzbekistan sold its stake to Coca-Cola İçecek A.Ş. (CCI), an anchor bottler and a part of the Coca-Cola System, which is operating in Turkey.

Kyrgyzstan's National Security Committee, the GKNB, said that Askar Akayev had been "delivered" to the capital Bishkek.

The plant will generate 260 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually.
