The government of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is on a non-stop effort to totally overhaul the economy and image of Central Asia’s largest country.

One of the main tasks of the agency is to identify promising industries and areas of investment activity and study strategies to attract investment.

The bank said that the new forecast would also reflect an improved outlook for Armenia and Georgia.

The Central Asian nation, which has the largest agricultural industry in the region, has in recent years lost 80,000 hectares of irrigated land.
