Kazakhstan produced 49.8 million tonnes of oil and gas condensate in the first half of 2021, in compliance with the country’s obligations under the OPEC+ deal.

Oil and gas condensate production declined 2.6 percent in January to July from a year earlier to 20.096 million tonnes, while natural gas output increased 7.8 percent to 24.085 billion cubic metres (bcm) in the same period.

Azerbaijan's state energy firm SOCAR submitted an application to Russian oil pipeline operator Transneft to transport 1.209 million tonnes of oil via Russia in 2022, up from 1.09 million tonnes that is planned to be shipped this year.

Trade between Moldova and the "separatist" area is robust. Transnistria is even part of Moldova's Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA) with the European Union, something unheard of in other "breakaway" ex-Soviet entities.
